Can I install the Top myself?
TopsForCars strongly recommends AGAINST attempting installation by yourself. TopsForCars strongly recommends instead that you employ the service of a professional trim shop for your Top Installation, for two reasons. First, our Manufacturers Warranties require professional installation, and attempting to install your Top yourself will almost certainly lead to the Manufacturer voiding your Warranty. Second, when a professional installs your Top, they are responsible for ensuring the perfect fit installation; this means they are also responsible for correcting any mistakes should they arise. Installing a Top on your own means that YOU are responsible for correcting your own mistakes. TopsForCars wants only the best for you - please, use a professional!
Will my Installer be required to cut or sew my Top before or during installation?
No, your Top will arrive ready to be installed. No cutting or sewing will be required.
What type of plastic is used to make Plastic Windows for the Convertible Tops you sell?
Our manufacturers use 40 gauge plastic (as required for automotive safety); this is the same thickness & quality equivalent to the factory original plastic window available with your vehicle when it rolled off the assembly line.
What type of glass is used to make Glass Windows for the Convertible Tops you sell?
Our manufacturers use the highest quality replacement glass, which meets the Federal Government's transportation codes and the OE quality codes. You will be getting the same quality glass window as was original to your vehicle from the factory.
